The No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) gives access to fair and safe loans for eligible people, with no interest, fees or charges. No interest loans of up to $3,000 are available to people on low incomes, these loans are repaid over a period of up to 2 years. People who have experienced Family and Domestic Violence in the last 10 years can also apply for a NILS loan to help with the financial costs of establishing a new household. No income limit applies however, they must be able to repay the loan. No Interest Loans (NILs) – Good Shepherd, Phone 13 6457 (13 NILS).
Emergency Relief providers can assist people to meet their immediate basic needs in times of financial distress or hardship. Emergency Relief providers can assist with access to food, clothing, and vouchers, and they can also connect you to other support services.
